FTIR Fundamentals - English course
In this 2-day course, we cover the theoretical basis and principles of FTIR and spectrum interpretation. Through interactive exercises (both theoretical and practical) you will gain insight in spectroscopy in general, molecular energy, interpretation of spectra, Beer's law and more.

Training content
Whether you have a job in (clinical) chemistry, food, pharmaceuticals or polymer industry, this course can take your knowdledge on FTIR to the next level!
On the first day, we cover the theoretical basis and principles of FTIR and spectrum interpretation. Through interactive exercises, you will gain insight in spectroscopy in general, molecular energy and spectra interpretation.
On the second day, we focus on practical exercises on state-of-the-art FTIR instrumentation and software. You gain experience in accumulating FTIR spectra using different sampling techniques. This demonstrates the advantages of each technique and their applications. Additionally, you will gain knowledge in Beer's Law, building calibration lines and using FTIR to quantify unknown concentration of a component.
At the end of the course, you will digitally recieve all course material including solutions to the exercises and IR Tutor software.
